The Journey through Topolia Gorge & Agia Sofia Cave
Our trip to the famous Elafonissi begins with a scenic drive through the breathtaking Topolia Gorge. The narrow, winding road takes us past towering cliffs, traditional mountain villages, and lush green landscapes. Along the way, we make a short stop at the impressive Cave of Agia Sofia, located high on the cliffs above the gorge. Known for its massive stalactites and the small chapel built right inside the entrance, this spot provides a perfect photo opportunity.
Elafonissi Beach
We then arrive at the world-renowned Elafonissi. Famous for its crystal-clear, shallow turquoise waters and unique pink sand—created by millions of crushed seashells—this protected nature reserve feels like a tropical paradise. You will have plenty of free time (approx. 4 hours) to swim, sunbathe, walk across the shallow lagoon to the island, and simply relax in one of the most beautiful places in Greece.
